Radio/TV Information

Colorado State on a weekly basis reaches thousands of homes throughout the region. Eight area television stations and several radio outlets along the front range come to campus to interview and feature CSU's student-athletes and coaches.

Television broadcast partners:
In the fall of 2006, CSTV Networks and the Mountain West Conference kicked off an unprecedented 14-year relationship to offer the most in-depth coverage ever, centered around one Division I-A conference. The centerpiece of this historic relationship is the launch of The mtn. ("the mountain")--MountainWest Sports Network, the first-ever super regional sports network, serving the Mountain West Conference 24 hours a day, seven days a week. In addition to football, The mtn. features coverage of every Mountain West Conference sport, including men's and women's basketball, women's volleyball, soccer, softball, baseball and much more.

Rams Radio Network:

  • Rams football is broadcast statewide on the Colorado State Sports Network presented by Nelligan Sports Marketing. Rich Bircumshaw has been the play-by-play announcer for the past four seasons and has been a member of the network broadcast team for seven years. Bircumshaw also handles play-by-play coverage for Colorado State's men's basketball team. Pregame coverage begins two hours prior to kickoff; the postgame show lasts one hour. The flagship station is KLZ, 560 AM, in Denver. The other station on the network is KCOL, 600 AM, in Denver.
  • CSU men's basketball, with Bircumshaw at the microphone, also is available for every game the Rams play.
  • Fans can catch every women's basketball game and several volleyball matches live on KCSU, 90.5 FM.
