Forty-seven Colorado State student-athletes have earned Mountain West Scholar-Athlete awards for their work in the classroom during the 2007-08 academic year. The Mountain West Conference made the announcement Monday. MORE Colorado State University women's basketball Head Coach Kristen Holt announced Monday the signing of Kim Mestdagh to a National Letter of Intent (NLI). Mestdagh, a native of Ieper, Belgium, will join the Rams for the 2008-09 season, along with fall signee Meghan Heimstra from Silver Creek High School in Longmont, Colo., and Natalie van den Adel, a native of Barendrecht, Netherlands, as part of Holt's first recruiting class. MORE The Colorado State University Department of Athletics has announced the appointment of three individuals to prestigious NCAA national committees. Director of Athletics Paul Kowalczyk, director of compliance Matt Brewer and women's basketball student-athlete Juanise Cornell will assume committee assignments in conjunction with the reorganization of the NCAA Division I governance structure effective July 1. MORE With women's basketball summer camps set to begin in less than one week, slots are still available for anyone interested in participating in either the team camps or individual camps offered by first-year Head Coach Kristen Holt and her staff.
