For the third time in five years, the Colorado State volleyball team will begin its season ranked in the CSTV/AVCA Division I Coaches Top 25 preseason poll. The Rams are ranked 17th in the preseason poll that was released on Tuesday by the American Volleyball Coaches Association. The Rams, who received votes in the final poll last season, were ranked as high as No. 17 in the country during the 2007 season. CSU began the 2004 season ranked 11th in the country and 22nd to start the year in 2005. MORE

Fans interested in attending either the Front Range Kickoff in Denver, or the CSU Fall Kickoff in Fort Collins, both annual August events, still have an opportunity to reserve their seats. The Rams athletic department also is accepting reservations for the annual Business After Hours event. MORE
