CSU Student tickets for the 2008 Qwest Rocky Mountain Showdown
SOLD OUT! CSU has sold out its allotment of student tickets for the Aug. 31 opener against in-state rival Colorado. While the $15 student seats no longer are available, students can still purchase reserved seats at the regular price on CSURams.com. The university is encouraging students to still show their support for new Head Coach Steve Fairchild and his team in the coach's debut. The week of August 18, CSU students, who purchased Qwest Rocky Mountain Showdown tickets, will receive an e-mail from the Denver Broncos ticket office with instructions on how to print their tickets from home. This e-mail was originally scheduled to be sent on August 13, but needed to be pushed back due to a conflict with the Democratic National Convention. Football at Sonny Lubick Field at Hughes Stadium CSU students with a valid university student ID receive one free ticket to all CSU home athletics events. CSU students must show their student ID when picking up tickets. Football CSU students may pick up their ticket at the athletics ticket office (located on the first floor of the McGraw Athletics Center) beginning the Monday before each home football game. Student tickets also are available on campus at the Lory Student Center. Students are encouraged to pick up their tickets early, as they are distributed on a first-come, first-serve basis. If tickets still are available, students may secure them at the Hughes Stadium box office. The student section is the east grandstand, along the Rams' home sideline, and seating is general admission. Students wishing to bring a guest who is not a CSU student may purchase a $25 general-admission, student-section ticket.
